Operating modes for flexible network installations
The network device handles five different operating modes, including router, client, bridge, repeater and AP access point. This means users can easily adapt the device's behaviour to the current topology of their internal network. Switching and configuration are done via the web interface, which also lets you back up your settings.
Quick pairing
The device features a physical WPS button, which simplifies the process of connecting to other wireless devices without needing to manually enter security keys. The connection is established within seconds of pressing the button on both pairing devices. Integrated LED indicators show the connection status, power, and wireless and wired network activity.
Data transfer security and traffic management
Wireless operation is protected by 64/128/152-bit WEP and 128-bit WPA encryption protocols, including TKIP and AES algorithms. The device also supports SSID broadcast control, WDS Bridge technology, and WMM standards for traffic prioritisation. The integrated QoS function ensures a stable data flow for VoIP voice services and smooth multimedia streaming without annoying dropouts and signal delays.
Compact design
The device's body, measuring 74×48×50mm, plugs directly into a Type C electrical socket. Thanks to its shallow 50mm depth and total weight of 196g, the device protrudes minimally from the wall and does not get in the way. A universal internal power supply ranging from AC 100–240V makes it easy to use in various European countries with this type of socket.
Wired interface for a reliable connection
The design includes one 10/100Mbps RJ-45 network port with Auto MDI/MDIX functionality. The port is used for connecting end devices via an Ethernet cable or for providing an internet connection in router mode. A physical wired connection provides a more stable response than wireless transmission, which results in greater reliability when transferring large volumes of data.
Integrated antennas for stable coverage
The manufacturer has permanently built two non-detachable 3dBi antennas into the chassis. The antennas transmit the signal evenly in all directions, covering the indoor spaces of a home or office. The transmitter's maximum radio frequency power reaches 17dBm, and signal modulation occurs using DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, OFDM, 16-QAM and 64-QAM technologies.
