The Tamron company introduces a new range of very fast professional lenses under the name of SP. This model with a fixed focal length of 35mm is designed primarily for full-frame cameras but it's also a great choice for cameras with a smaller sensor. The SP series lenses were made using a new technology in order to achieve superior optical performance, so as to maximize the potential of today's high-resolution digital cameras.
This lens with its maximum aperture of F1.8 and VC optical stabilisation is ideal for shooting in low-light conditions. The lens consists of 10 elements in 9 groups. There are two aspherical members - LD glass (Low Dispersion) and XLD glass (Extra Low Dispersion). Optical members have special anti-reflective nanolayers. The lens is able to focus from 20cm. The angle of view is 63° 26' with full-frame cameras and 43° 29' with APS-C. The diaphragm with 9 blades ranges from F1.8 to F16.
