Cal Kestis is the central character of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS5. He is one of the few surviving padawans. He is still learning to use his Force, and is also in the beginning stages with the lightsaber.
He doesn't have as long to learn as other Jedi. He has become a fugitive and must fight to survive. The fighting starts almost immediately. And since they're a key component of the game, they have to learn to wield their Power pretty quickly.

On your journey you will be in Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order will be accompanied by a small faithful droid, with whom you will experience many surprises. You will also be accompanied by a pilot with mildly venomous remarks. Complete your Jedi training, collect what's left of the Jedi Order and try to rebuild it. Remember, the galaxy is now under Imperial rule.
