Swix VP30 wax is designed for cold to extremely cold conditions. It is suitable for fresh and freshly fallen fine-grained snow at a temperature of -16 to -8 °C and for partially transformed snow at a temperature of -20 to -12 °C. It does not contain fluorine, but it contains an additive that acts as a lubricant. This is why wax improves bounce and slip. Swix VP30 wax was developed for top skiers, but it can also be used by sports or recreational skiers.
