The Secutek SST-550A photo trap with display cover is equipped with both photo and video mode, takes up to 16MP photos and is designed for tracking wildlife movement, as an effective security device, to detect the movement of unauthorized persons on private property and for covert monitoring of a selected area. Thanks to its camouflaged appearance, it does not attract as much attention as a classic security camera. It is powered by batteries or an external power supply, so it is not dependent on the power supply and can be placed anywhere. The Secutek SST-550A offers several recording modes. It can take photos, record video, or first take a photo and then start recording video according to the parameters you set. Another function is the so-called. "time-lapse", where the photo trap captures the scene at given time intervals. The photo trap is also equipped with multi-shot function, which means sequential shooting - taking 1 to 9 photos in one activation. The built-in 2" TFT colour display has a clear menu in English. The photo trap can be secured with a password.

Secutek photo trap has 24 IR diodes for night vision
Placing the display on the front of the device makes it easier to locate the spot you are looking at, and the cover protects the display from the weather and scratches from branches. The laser pointer provides easier focusing of the shot. The Secutek SST-550A photo trap is equipped with a 120° camera and captures photos up to 16 MP and videos up to Full HD. It has 24 built-in infrared LEDs that illuminate the night scene up to 20 meters away, so the photo trap works even at night. It also has a PIR sensor that activates the photo trap if it detects movement in its surroundings. The sensor occupies an angle of 120° and its sensitivity can be adjusted. Video recordings include an audio track, audio recording can be turned off.
Saves recordings to SD card
The Secutek SST-550A supports an SD memory card with a capacity of 8 to 32 GB, which stores the recorded footage. The download of recordings is done by connecting the SD card via a memory card reader or by connecting the photo trap to a PC with the included USB cable. The device appears as a removable disk and then you can play, copy or delete files.
Withstands severe weather
The Secutek SST-550A is powered by eight AA batteries or an external power supply (DC 6V/1A). In standby mode, one set of batteries lasts up to 6 months. The photo trap can be attached to the desired location using the supplied strap or mounted to a tripod or bracket using the 1.4" thread. The IP65 waterproof standard ensures resistance to adverse conditions including heavy and persistent rain.
