How to set the Roncato suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and make sure to remember it.
4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. To change your code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and press the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0, unless you have already set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow your luggage to be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. It can also speed up the inspection process. Security officers can use this type of lock to open and check your luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, the officers are required to place a notification of inspection inside your suitcase and must lock it again.
