How to set the Roncato suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or another pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it.
4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set. If you wish to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to enable luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. This also allows the check to be carried out more quickly. Security staff can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting the luggage, these agents are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and relock it.
