It features assisted braking, which improves comfort while belaying, holding a climber, and catching a fall. The controlled cam-action mechanism provides excellent control when lowering a climber. You can use the Petzl Grigri belay device with dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 11mm in diameter. It also has a rope installation diagram engraved on both the interior and exterior.
