Bicycle trips are one of the most memorable family moments. But how do you do it with the little ones to have fun and with the big ones to be properly ventilated? Towbars secure child's bike to their parents' bike. If the child is losing power, the parent can support him/her in pedalling, for example in a steep climb. And the tow bar comes in handy even when it comes to overcoming a dangerous stretch, such as a busy road. The child's bike's front wheel is lifted off the ground and locked when on the tow bar. Thus, it can not spontaneously turn, for example to the middle of the road.
Installation of the tow bar takes only a few moments. First, you need to fix the tow holders, one on the large bike and the other one on child's bike. It is only then that the bar can be connected, so you can leave the holders on the bicycles the whole season and the bar can only be used if necessary. Fitting the bar into the holders, including the securing of child's front wheel does not take even a minute. Immediately afterwards you can go. If the bar is no longer needed during a trip, the child's bicycle can be released and the tow bar can be folded halfway on the rear wheel of the parent's bicycle. It does not interfere and is ready for a quick use. The detailed installation procedure is demonstrated by the manufacturer on the video, and the package is of course manual. The weight of the whole tow bar assembly is 5kg.
You can use this tow bar for children with weight up to 30kg and for children's bikes up to 15kg. Therefore, the total weight of the towing must not exceed 45kg. Otherwise, you can use the product on any child's bicycle with a tire diameter from 10 to 24" and head tube diameter between 34 and 38mm. You can ride any bicycle with a tire diameter of 25" and larger, at the same time the seat post diameter should be from 25.4 to 31.8mm. It is not advisable to use bars for carbon seat posts.
