The OUTEQ HL2 is a compact rechargeable LED headlamp with a light module that can be removed from the headband without any tools and used separately as a handheld work light. Three LEDs with optical lenses provide a luminous flux of up to 1150 lumens with a beam distance of up to 100 metres, while the head can be tilted up to 180°. The integrated battery recharges directly via the USB-C connector on the body, and the magnetic base, combined with a reversible stainless steel clip, holds the light securely on metal surfaces, belts or pockets.

Headlamp and handheld torch in one
The light module can be detached from the headband without any tools, transforming the headlamp into a handheld torch in seconds. The mode memory instantly activates the last-used setting without you having to cycle through the entire sequence, so a single device easily fulfils two roles that usually require separate equipment: a headlamp for moving in the dark and a handheld torch for detailed work.
On your head or in your hand
When worn on the headband, the light follows your line of sight—ideal for night walks on trails or overhead installation work. The detached module works as a versatile work light for switchboards, under the car bonnet, or anywhere you need illumination from a different angle to your viewpoint. Switching between uses requires no extra accessories, and you can easily snap the module back into the holder on the strap at any time.
Up to 1150 lumens and five light modes
The optical system consists of three LEDs with optical lenses, delivering a focused beam of up to 1150 lumens with a distance of up to 100 metres. This ensures sufficient lighting for workspaces, hiking trails, and campsites. Although the HL2 is not designed for extreme long-distance illumination, it excels at short- to medium-range tasks. The side button cycles through Low, Medium, and High modes, followed by Strobe and SOS modes for signalling. A double press activates smooth dimming for fine-tuning the brightness between minimum and maximum, while a long press turns the light off.
180° tilting head
The head with the light module tilts smoothly through 180°, which lets you aim the beam at your feet, straight ahead, or vertically upwards without having to bend your neck or change the light's position. On the headband, this eliminates the limitations of fixed headlamps that only shine straight ahead.
Magnetic base
An integrated magnet in the end cap lets you attach the module to a car bonnet, switchboards, metal shelving, or any other steel surface. The strong magnet holds the light securely even on vertical surfaces, ensuring the beam stays pointed exactly where it's needed.
Reversible stainless steel clip
The reversible stainless steel clip fastens the light to a belt, pocket, or rucksack strap and can be mounted in either direction—with the beam facing up or down. This lets you use the module as a hands-free chest light for working or walking in the dark. Furthermore, the stainless steel construction withstands frequent clipping and damp environments without risk of corrosion.
Aluminium body with IP68 rating
The body is made from an aluminium alloy with a hard-anodised finish that dissipates heat during prolonged use at high power and resists abrasion from daily wear. The IP68 rating protects the internal electronics from dust and water ingress, ensuring reliable operation in rain, snow, or dusty environments. Although not intended for diving or prolonged submersion, it is fully resistant for demanding outdoor conditions.
USB-C charging with battery status indicator
The HL2 recharges directly via the integrated USB-C port using the included cable and any standard 5V⎓1A phone adapter. The integrated 1000mAh battery reaches a full charge in approximately 1.5 hours; the indicator glows red during charging and switches to green when fully charged. The coloured LED also tracks the battery level during operation: green indicates 30% to 100%, red 10% to 30%, and a flashing red light warns when the level drops below 10%, so you'll never be caught out by a dead battery. A protective rubber cap shields the port from dust and moisture.
Pocket-sized and fits in your palm
With dimensions of 66×25×31mm, the light module fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and takes up about as much space in your pocket as a lighter. The headband is 650mm long and 24mm wide, and the entire unit weighs just 136g. The lightweight design prevents neck fatigue during extended wear, and its ultra-compact form means you can easily keep it permanently in a jacket pocket, car glove box, or toolkit.

Luminous flux
