Instructions for Setting the IMPACKT Suitcase's TSA Lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default code is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not available for public sale and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
