GIRO Register II MIPS XL Mat Black/Grey

The GIRO Register II MIPS bike helmet in size XL is designed for men who enjoy mountain biking or cycle touring. The In-mould shell combines a polycarbonate layer with an inner EPS foam, which contributes to its low weight and high durability. A key safety feature is the MIPS Evolve Core technology, which helps to eliminate rotational forces upon impact. Comfort is provided by 19 ventilation holes, quick-drying pads, and the Roc Loc® Sport fit system for easy size adjustment.

Advanced Protection with MIPS Technology

The Giro Register II MIPS helmet places a strong emphasis on safety. Its construction is designed to absorb as much energy as possible upon impact and meets the current European standard EN 1078. The main feature is the MIPS technology, which is a slip-plane liner between the EPS shell and the inner padding. In the event of an angled impact, this system allows the shell to rotate independently of the head, thus helping to eliminate rotational forces acting on the brain. The shell itself uses In-mould technology, which securely fuses the outer polycarbonate layer with the inner EPS foam.

A Comfortable Ride Thanks to Ventilation and Padding

Comfort while riding is ensured by a sophisticated ventilation system and internal padding. The helmet has a total of 19 vents complemented by deep internal channels that efficiently draw warm air away and keep your head dry. The internal quick-drying antibacterial Coolmax pads can be easily removed and washed. An integrated net in the front vents prevents insects from getting in during your ride.

Easy Adjustment and Additional Features

Adjusting the helmet on your head is a matter of moments thanks to the Roc Loc® Sport fit system. Using the dial at the back, you can easily set the correct circumference for a firm and stable fit. The helmet is equipped with a removable Snap-Fit 2 visor, which protects against sun and rain. Reflective elements are included for better visibility in low-light conditions. The helmet can also be complemented with a GIRO Register II light, which is installed in the rear ventilation hole.
