Deuter Guide 44 + 6 red

The Deuter Guide 44 + 6 climbing backpack is designed for alpinists and mountaineers who need a reliable partner for challenging conditions. With a volume of 44 litres, which can be expanded by an additional 6 litres, it offers plenty of space for all your equipment. The backpack is made from recycled material, specifically a combination of polyester and polyamide. It allows you to attach climbing equipment such as ice axes, a rope, a helmet, and even skis. The cut is designed so you can wear it comfortably with a harness and helmet.

Flexible adjustment for demanding ascents

The Deuter Guide backpack adapts fully to your needs. Its cut is designed so that it does not get in the way when climbing with a harness or wearing a helmet. For demanding climbing routes where every gram counts, you can significantly lighten the backpack. Simply remove the hip belt and the top lid to reduce the overall weight. This modularity allows you to optimise the backpack precisely according to the nature of the tour, whether it's a single-day climb or a multi-day traverse.

Clear organisation of all your equipment

Thanks to the well-thought-out system of loops and pockets, you will always have your equipment at hand. The backpack offers special loops for ice axes and hiking poles, as well as straps for securely attaching skis or a snowboard. Quick access to the main compartment without having to open the lid is ensured by the front J-shaped zip. The side compression straps not only compress the contents of the backpack, but their length also allows you to attach a foam sleeping mat. The top handle makes handling the backpack easier.

Durable and sustainable construction

The backpack is made from a combination of polyester and polyamide, materials chosen for their durability in demanding mountain conditions. Sustainability is also an important aspect, as it is made from recycled material. This approach reduces the environmental impact of production without affecting the product's functionality. The construction has been tried and tested over the years and is designed to withstand intensive use during mountaineering and alpinist activities.
