The AUTHOR A-N Tourer 40 bicycle pannier is a versatile piece of luggage for single-day trips and multi-day expeditions. With a total volume of 40 litres, it offers plenty of space, which can also be divided thanks to the detachable top section. This comes with its own shoulder strap for easy carrying off the bike. The pannier is made of durable nylon with a waterproof coating and is also suitable for bikepacking, so even bad weather won't stop you.

Versatile Space for Every Journey

The AUTHOR A-N Tourer 40 pannier consists of two side bags and a detachable top section, allowing you to customise the storage space according to the length and difficulty of your trip. Each of the side bags has a volume of 13 litres, while the top bag holds 14 litres. You can easily detach it using the hook-and-loop fasteners and take it with you. For comfortable carrying off the bike, the top section is equipped with its own shoulder strap. At the rear, there is a practical pocket for a 1.5L bottle.

Durable Design for Tough Conditions

The pannier is ready for challenging conditions. The 420D Nylon fabric with a PU coating has high strength and is resistant to water and abrasion. For maximum protection of the contents in heavy rain or when riding through muddy terrain, an integrated rain cover is provided. This is stored in its own pocket and, if necessary, can be quickly pulled over the entire luggage to keep your belongings dry and clean.

Safety and Additional Storage Options

For your safety in low visibility, the pannier is equipped with reflective elements. You will also find a special strap for attaching a rear light. The versatility of the luggage is enhanced by straps around the perimeter of the bags, which allow for the easy attachment of other equipment, such as a tent, sleeping bag or sleeping mat. The pannier is attached to the rack using strong hook-and-loop fasteners, and the shaped corners of the bags prevent you from kicking them while pedalling.
