The triple axis accelerometer is suitable for electronic kits based on the Arduino platform. The accelerometer has a high resolution (13 bits) and measures reliably up to ± 13G. Output is in 16-bit format, available via SPI or I2C bus interface. Accelerometer can capture the static effects of gravity as well as dynamic movement of the sensor. Inactivity and free-fall detection are also present. These events generate an interruption on the output pins and can be conveniently operated from the connected microcontroller.
