The EZIDRI FD500 DIGITAL Snackmaker food dryer features digital controls with temperature settings ranging from 30-60°C. The hot air circulation system ensures a constant temperature and even drying in all screens. Thanks to the built-in fan, the warm air passes through the dryer repeatedly - the air only needs to "reheat" to the desired temperature, which also saves electricity, which the dryer consumes about 0.45 kWh to dry 1 kg of fruit. Of course, there is a quality thermostat that monitors a constant drying temperature. The big advantage of the EZIDRI FD500 Snackmaker is its capacity. The screens have a diameter of 34 cm and can be expanded from the basic five to fifteen, increasing the dryer's capacity threefold without sacrificing drying quality. Additional accessories such as foil trays or nets further extend the use of the dryer.

Dryer capacity
The EZIDRI FD500 DIGIRTAL Snackmaker has five screens with a diameter of 34 cm. However, the dryer can be extended with additional screens, while maintaining the quality and uniformity of drying. By adding additional screens, the capacity of the FD500 Snackmaker can be tripled - it can hold up to 15 screens (the number recommended by the manufacturer as the maximum for drying herbs and flowers). When drying fresh fruit and vegetables directly on the screens, a maximum of 12 screens is recommended to maintain the quality of drying.
Digital control
Operating the EziDri Snackmaker FD500 DIGITAL fruit dryer is quite simple. The desired temperature can be selected, ranging from 30 to 60 °C. Similarly simple is the selection of the drying time - you can choose from an interval of 1 to 24 hours. When the drying time is up, the dryer automatically switches off. When setting the temperature and drying time, the type of raw materials and the degree of humidity must always be taken into account.
Accessories
In addition to the five sieves, the basic version includes one foil bowl and one net. The foil trays are mainly used for drying pasty fillings such as fruit, vegetable or yoghurt purees. Once dried, they make great and tasty treats. The net is then used for drying fragile ingredients such as herbs or tea leaves, or for drying small berries such as blueberries or blackberries. You can also use the spacer screens, which increase the space between the screens and thanks to this, you can comfortably dry even taller raw materials that do not fit on a regular screen.
