SmallRig 5446 Fill Light for Action Cameras
SmallRig 5446 Fill Light for Action Cameras
The SmallRig 5446 Fill Light for Action Cameras serves as an additional light source for DJI, GoPro, and Insta360 action cameras or for smartphones. This compact device helps to illuminate the scene when filming in poor light conditions, both outdoors and indoors. An integrated neodymium magnet makes it easy to quickly attach it to the body of a compatible device or to a metal quick-release interface. The ABS and PC plastic construction combines low weight with durability, which makes everyday handling easier when creating video content.

Mounting options
This product offers two primary ways to attach it to different types of recording devices. In addition to the magnetic connection, you can use the supplied cold shoe, which is included in the package. This lets you easily attach the light to standard camera cages, tripods or stabilisers. The metal adhesive plate included in the package expands installation options to any smooth, non-magnetic surface, such as helmets or dashboards.
Temperature control
The light source offers three-step colour temperature adjustment to achieve the desired tone. Specific values of 3000K, 4500K and 6500K are available with a deviation of +/- 300K. These settings help you adapt the colour tone to the current lighting conditions in the surrounding environment. You can switch between warm and cool light using the control button, with the device using a total of eight warm and eight cool LEDs.
Adjusting the light intensity
The intensity of the emitted light can be adjusted across two separate brightness levels. The luminous flux is 240 lux at a distance of 0.3 metres, providing sufficient fill light for close-up shots. Two selectable brightness levels make it easy to react quickly to sudden changes in ambient conditions when filming. The lower intensity setting saves energy and significantly extends the total operating time on a single full charge.
Integrated battery
The entire device is powered by a built-in 3.7V battery. The battery has a capacity of 500mAh for a stable power supply. When using full brightness, the light can stay on for up to 60 minutes without interruption. Switching to low power extends the operating time to 4.5 hours. This is useful for long shoots in the field without access to a power source.
Charging via USB-C
The device recharges via a USB-C interface with 5V and 0.4A input parameters. The charging power is 2W and the process only requires a compatible cable, which is included in the package. The light cannot be used to illuminate a scene during the charging process in order to protect the battery.
Compact video light for the field
The ABS and PC construction weighs just 21 grams without any accessories attached. The body measures 46.4 × 35.3 × 19.8mm, so the light is easy to carry in a pocket or small bag. The low weight and small dimensions do not increase the overall weight of your camera setup during long shoots. The device contains a total of 16 LEDs that provide true colour rendering with a CRI Ra index of ≥ 95.
