This premium Sigma lens hood is specially shaped to prevent vignetting and provide the best results when shooting. The lens hood suppresses the annoying defects that occur when the parasitic rays enter and mirror inside the lens. These parasitic rays, which reduce the colour brightness and overall contrast of the image, can be caused not only by the reflection of the diffuse skies, but by pretty much everything (for example, you can get reflections and glare from the water surface or a light-coloured facade of a nearby building). For this reason, it is advisable to always have a lens hood at hand, which is very easy and quick to attach and can significantly improve your photos.
