The first-class lens hood Sigma is specially shaped to prevent vignetting and to ensure the best results during a photo shoot. The hood suppresses disturbing defects that are created by entering and mirroring of the parasitic rays of light inside the lens. These parasitic rays reduce the overall colour and contrast of the image. These rays can be formed not only by a diffusion of the reflection from the sky but from virtually any surfaces (for example, from water or bright facade). For this reason, it is advisable to have a lens hood. Attaching the hood is very simple and fast and can be easily mounted any time during a photo shoot.
