Extremely wide EX lens from the famous Sigma company has been designed as a circular fisheye. This means that the picture is, unlike the usual type, centered in a circle and does not cover the entire image. Thanks to measurable distortion, the lens can be used for science, technology as well as in many other sectors. It features an anti-reflective layer Super Multi Layer (SML) that minimizes flare and ghosting from Sensors .
It uses ultrasonic micromotor for autofocus, which is known for its high speed and accuracy and is also very quiet. The lens features a fixed 4.5mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/2,8. It has been designed for digital SLR cameras with APS-sized sensor and a compatible mount.
