The lightweight and compact Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM Lens uses a new optical design that consists of 16 optical elements in 14 groups. In the new Contemporary range, thermally stable composite materials are used to provide greater durability of the lens and it has a 30% smaller size compared to previous models.

This model is intended for Sony SLR cameras with APS-C sensor.

The advantage of this lens is the high f/2.8 brightness at 17mm focal length at f/4.0 on a 70mm focal point. Due to this, you can capture clear images and sharpen your focus in poor lighting conditions. The minimum focusing distance is 22cm and the maximum aspect ratio of 1:2.8 determines the use of a lens for all types of photos.

Quiet and fast autofocus

Quiet and fast autofocus is provided by an HSM engine that works on ultrasonic waves. If you want to get maximum control over the scanned scene, you can easily switch to autofocus with the manual focus switch.
