The advantage of this lens is its high f/2.8 brightness, which lets you capture clear images even under poor lighting conditions, and also provides fast focusing. Additionally, the rear lens of the lens is equipped with a Super Multi-Layer anti-reflective coating that eliminates light from the sensor to take pictures without interfering colour defects and light reflexes. 

Quiet and fast autofocus

Quiet and fast autofocus is provided by an HSM engine that works on ultrasonic waves. If you want to get maximum control over the scanned scene, you can easily switch to autofocus using the manual focus switch.

Optical stabilisation

The lens is equipped with an effective optical image stabiliser based on both vertical and horizontal motion recognition to capture perfectly sharp images without a tripod even under dim lighting conditions.
