Lens speed of f/2.8

The advantage of this lens is its high lens speed of f/2.8, which lets you capture clear images even under poor lighting conditions, and also provides fast focusing. Additionally, the rear lens is equipped with a Super Multi Layer anti-reflective coating that eliminates light reflections from the sensor allowing you to take pictures without interfering colour defects and light reflections. 

Quiet and fast autofocus

A fast and quiet autofocus is provided by an HSM motor that works on the basis of ultrasonic waves. If you want maximum control over the scene you are shooting, you can easily switch from autofocus to manual focus.

Optical stabilisation

The lens is equipped with an effective optical image stabilizer based on both vertical and horizontal motion recognition to capture perfectly sharp images without a tripod even under dim lighting conditions.
