The special silent edition of the SCYTHE Mugen 5 CPU Cooler has been developed in collaboration with PC Games Hardware magazine. The two 120mm Kaze Flex PWM fans create impressive cooling performance without losing their silence. Asymmetric design for better installation

If your PC is equipped with RAM modules with large passive coolers, there may be situations that complicate the mounting of a new CPU cooler. With the SCYTHE Mugen 5 PCGH Edition cooler this is no problem. The heat conducting tubes are slightly sloped backwards so that the radiator is not centred above the base plate but has a slight displacement. This asymmetric design allows unrestricted access to memory slots. The low height of only 154.5mm offers maximum compatibility with standard PC cases.

Kaze Flex 120 PWM fans

The Mugen 5 PCGH Edition cooler has two 120mm PWM fans from the newly developed Kaze Flex series operating in the range of 300 to 800rpm. The separate fluid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum, resulting in an average life of 120,000hrs. The rubberised pads have a separating effect and prevent vibration transfer. The double fans generate increased airflow but keep low noise levels due to relatively low RPMs.

Mounting system H.P.M.S. II

The improved second generation Hyper Precision Mounting System (HPMS II) has been designed with a few small improvements to simplify the installation of the cooler. The already assembled mounting rail facilitates installation while the spring bolts prevent uneven pressure distribution. This HPMS version also offers full support for the new AMD socket AM4. The Mugen 5 PCGH package includes an extra-long screwdriver for easy installation.
