Samsung SSD 850 EVO is based on the technologically advanced 3D architecture V-NAND which enables maximum read and write speeds in sequential and random access. This is achieved by layering cells on top of each other instead of side by side.

With 850 EVO, Samsung doubled the reliability of cells for writing and minimized the consequential reduction in performance after reaching the full capacity of the hard disk. This means that compared to its predecessor, the 850 EVO has greater data elasticity and an overall 30% increase in performance, which translates into a better user experience. The TurboWrite technology represents a buffer with high write speeds which distributes data into cells. It does not slow down even when writing enormously voluminous data. If you will use the disk to archive big amounts of data often, consider activating Rapid Mode. This would significantly improve the performance in data processing by using available RAM as cache.
