These elements are strengthened by specific nutrients that actively support healthy digestion and the natural defenses of puppies. This unique composition satisfies the needs of the mother and her puppies during the first five periods of life: pregnancy, birth, lactation, weaning and growth (up to 8 weeks). The nutritional profile of the feed is adjusted to meet the high energy needs of your bitch at the end of pregnancy and during lactation. Among the essential nutrients in ROYAL CANIN® Mini Starter Mother & Babydog includes poultry meat, rice, animal fats, vegetable proteins, hydrolysed yeast (it is a natural substance, which increases palatability) and marigold extract (source of lutein). By soaking in water, the granules are easily rehydrated to a slurry. This form is very tasty for both mother and weaned puppies, who switch from breast milk to solid food.
