We don't have a car, so I drive other people's cars. The advantage of this belt is the ease of installation. You just put on the seat, sit down, buckle the car seat belt and fasten the side straps of the pregnancy belt.
If you have your own car, or just drive one car, you attach the seat belt to the back of the seat.

That's my product.
The strap is probably made for a tram seat, because it almost doesn't fit a standard seat.
The buckle is quite foil-like, so it slips on the smooth strap and the whole thing then loosens itself.
When you add it up, it's all bunched up on the seat like suspenders - and then the whole strap starts to tear, as a few people have written here.
From a safety standpoint, it doesn't really matter (it's just supposed to hold the belt down), but for the money it might be more than a pancake with a slippery short strap that's going to break off anyway.
