Well, it works without any issues and lights a thinner cigar easily. Of course, it requires a bit of patience; it's not a flame of several cm like we're used to. I don't know about the battery life yet, but I've lit about 6 cigars while wasting battery, and it doesn't seem to be dead. The manufacturer states 40 cigarettes, but experience shows around 10. Someone here doesn't understand that this insert doesn't have a lid.
Someone here is asking why this plasma lighter doesn't have a lid and a box. It's because it's an insert to replace the petrol one in a Zippo case. Size-wise, it fits without a problem into most Zippo lighters as a replacement for the petrol insert (though, as mentioned, it doesn't fit the slim Zippo, but that's only a few lighters).
I don't have to store petrol, and it is completely safe. In fact, so much so that the discharge only starts after pressing the button twice.
Within plasma lighter technology, it seems to work well
It is made in China. Unfortunately Zippo boasts about being made in the USA for their "lighter fluid". Unfortunately the insert is Made in China
Unfortunately, it is only sold as an insert, so you have to buy a petrol Zippo and then this insert on top of that. But I suppose there's no harm in having the petrol one at home as a spare, so it's OK
