I wanted this device mainly because of the integration with Xiami Home. Unfortunately, after adding the device, the homekit tab is not displayed or displayed at all. can only be controlled via homekit or aqara home where they are unfortunately not all aqara devices.

I bought, set up and connected the hub without any problems, but after a few days or maybe a week it started to disconnect from wi-fi from time to time until it disconnected completely. I turned off the 5 GHz radio on the router so as not to provoke the hub and he was 100% connected to 2.4 GHz as he wanted. I also limited the wi-fi channels to 1, 6 and 11 as I read somewhere on the Internet. Still nothing. So unnecessarily difficult for me, I' m going to complain and smart switches per liter now are just overpriced classic switches .: )
when it worked, it worked well
after a short time I started to have a problem connecting to wi-fi and I am forced to complain

With the Aqara app it works as it should.
Unlike most products, Aqara does not communicate (March 2021) with the Mi Home app. In addition, it distinguishes between M1S and M1S EU. M1S apparently works in Mi Home China Mainland and quite possibly in EU regions, but M1S EU does not yet communicate in any and will probably never be available in China Mainland.
