I wanted the "Pen" for the InkPad version 3 logger from 2023. The logger is already installed. Finger notes - effortless note-taking. With this pen (recommended by AI, albeit with some reservations), the performance is very poor; it writes at about 30 per cent. I wouldn’t recommend it for an e-reader.

When used on mobile (Pixel 10) it works perfectly but on iPad (iPad 11), for which the stylus is useful and for some tasks even better than a finger, it doesn't work almost at all. I had to hold the stylus in a specific way and from a very sharp angle to the display for it to register. From the front, the display is unresponsive. I guess it depends on the manufacturer's display sensitivity setting. The iPad 11 doesn't have a laminated display, so that may have an impact too. Pixel also has a feature to increase touch sensitivity. Maybe the stylus will work better with other types of iPad.
