It serves its purpose - I have it connected from the back of the computer to a (probably) faster USB port (compared to the front ones) and I have the hub itself on my desk, so I conveniently connect USB3.0 + flash drives and external drives without the need to bend somewhere. I have no idea what the maximum speed is - the computer is an older piece.

As I wrote in the negatives, the USB ports are terribly unruly. At first I thought it would ease up, but it didn't. When I pull something out of the HUB, I have to properly unfold myself, put the HUB to my chin and then pull with the force of a lion. like Captain America, when he grabbed wood with his bare hands. I'm just waiting for when I'll break some USB device like this, because I hold it with all my strength and I'm fighting for it. I am seriously dissatisfied with the product.

USB devices must be rammed into the walls with terrible force and removed with the same force. I have a guy at home, he doesn't open my insurance cards, but he sticks his mouse in the USB slot. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.
