A very pleasant surprise! I wanted a non-certified home safe with an electronic lock so I wouldn't have to deal with keeping the key out of the unwary eyes of my young offspring. But I was scared by the heaps of videos with instructions to open similar cheap safes in a flash without any signs of damage just by slamming my hands or a strong magnet or a paper clip through the emergency lock. Here, instead of an electromagnetic coil, a motorized latch release is used and instead of a joke lock, an emergency lock with a classic safe double-sided key is used. It won't stop a pro, of course, but for home use I think it's a solid cheap safe. I'm glad I didn't get tempted by cheap competition, which is more like a better treasure chest for kids.
