the key was to meet expectations, which unfortunately did not happen
Unfortunately, anything related to functions that depend on internet connection is unusable - it still disconnects from Wifi (1m distance without obstacle) - the gentlemen put wifi in a metal box, which according to the laws of physics cannot work
It is hardly usable with bridge again, because even though the connection is functional, there are often errors in communication with the lock (this is what the application reports) when the door is to be opened according to geolocation (approach to the lock)
unfortunately, the hotline claims that everything is fine and works everywhere (I have 4 locks and the result is the same for all of them) - it is obvious that the direction from the lock is wrong as it is caught on min. speed (each wifi has a signal for both directions e.g. -70/-45, which tells you where the problem is)
a design error by the engineers. that they don't want to admit

We had the first version of this lock and were very happy, so now that the 2nd generation has come out, it was the obvious choice. It's great that the lock is faster and has a battery compared to the first version. Installation is easy, although it took quite a bit of time to tweak the locking/unlocking itself. Another interesting novelty is the NFC tag, which makes it easy to lock/unlock. What I'm missing so far is support for Apple HomeKit, but that should supposedly come sometime in the summer through a software update.

For a smooth installation, it is crucial that the lock insert protrudes by 3 to 5 mm (so that the lock has something to catch on). The installation itself took me about 20 minutes ( including downloading the Yale Home app). Once you've logged in, simply invite other family members to access. The main advantage I see is that the door can be opened remotely, which makes it easier for situations such as the return of children from school, the arrival of the cleaning lady or other visitors. The app makes it easy to check the status of the door and quickly see if it is closed or open. Also practical is the automatic easy-open door when unlocked, which makes it easier to enter the apartment, especially if your hands are full. After two weeks of use we are very satisfied!
