It’s an interesting concept, but it’s rather impractical for everyday use. Tested with a Mac and VertoxR – which then allowed me to set a usable resolution for the desktop.
Unfortunately, 3D video playback is limited to a very narrow range (flat SBS 3840×1080 3D); any other video format will not work.
If you want to use it as an extra screen, it’s fine; otherwise, it’s better to buy a pair of VR headsets.
If you have a mild visual impairment, I’d recommend other glasses that correct for short-sightedness directly, so you don’t need to invest in mini glasses.
