Hello, I use my phone as a portable hotspot, on average 10 hrs. a day. No problems for about 5 years on SONY Xperia Z, then about 2.5 years on Xiaomi Mi A3 until last December.
All of a sudden, it started to happen that on average every hour there was a short interruption in the connection between the phone and the connected device. If I had a browser open on the connected device and the sites I was logged in to, it was not possible to log in to those sites without turning the hotspot off and on again on the phone, sometimes afterwards the antivirus on the connected device reported the connection to the new network.
on the Mi A3 called. pure android 13, without any MIUI extensions.
After a consultation with the operator, when he claimed that everything was fine with them purchased a new Xiaomi 12T PRO 15 694,21
8GB/256GB and the problem is exactly the same, with a brand new device. Android 14, MIUI 14.0.6. updated today
After trying to change operator I was told that the SIM could be causing the problem, replaced.
So I'll see if that solves the problem. didn't solve it, changing the SIM didn't help.
So far I'm leaning towards the manufacturer causing the problem? Made in China. or Google? Android.?
As far as I have searched, a similar problem is starting to appear in Xiaomi phones quite often.
