Replaced with RX 7800XT - performance up about 30%. Similarly powerful RTX 5070Ti today costs the cheapest 26090, -! Which makes the RX 9070XT the king of price/performance ratio!
Power
Relatively quiet
Fan Stop
Good temperatures under load (approx. 80°C GPU hotspot, approx. 70°C VRAM)
It's a bigger and hungrier cat compared to my older RX 5600 XT, but the intergenerational FPS increase is there to be seen even with a 6 year old processor that's still not a bottleneck for it. Another year is coming when the price of memory chips will start to rise again. I'd like to play something newer at better detail before that, which this card will easily do for 1440p users for years to come.
The best FPS to price ratio in this generation of GPUs.
Cooling fine, cools down to 70 °C
The noise level is fine too. Over headphones, there's not much difference.
Coin whine during the first performance tests. But after a few days, the noise of the coils disappeared and the performance is still the same.
Unnecessarily power consuming over (300W). Just lower the power limit a bit, the power loss is negligible (-30W is probably only 1-2%).
After setting the Power limit to -30 in Adrenaline, the power consumption drops from ~330W to about 220W max and the temperatures are lower. You only lose a few % of performance. Food verified KCD2
Decent design. Scrolling white logo
2x8 pin power supply
In the default setting of the fan hood at full power quite noisy
For a price of less than 16k. There is nothing to solve at all: ) While Swift is XFX's entry-level line, the cooling is efficient and quiet, boosting frequencies up to 3100MHz without any interference, handling even 3.3GHz just fine. GPU load temperatures 50-60°C, hotspot max 80, memory up to 70°. Consumption in the basic setting is slightly over 300W, but this can be easily reduced without loss of power by setting it in Adrenaline. The dimensions are acceptable too, it's one of the smaller ones. I originally wanted a more premium model, but in the end I'm happy with the Swift - it's a 100% hit in terms of functionality and I still saved a few crowns; ) Some may miss the colorful RGB - this one just has a white illuminated logo. I run at 3840×1600 resolution, 144 Hz, when it does not give the 144fps in more demanding titles in full fire, but even so I do not consider the extra 5.000, - for 5070ti or 12.000, - for 5080 as justified.
performance/price unbeatable
quiet and efficient cooling
Operating characteristics 1*
power supply 2x8pin
for a quality 2k monitor 100% choice
no coil whine
there is only a card in the box - the support is missing
consumption over 300W (but can be reduced)
at 3840×1600 144 Hz, you have to compromise on detail settings
Great card as always from XFX, I recommend to undervolt, it uses less with the same performance, in general probably the best deal on RX 9070 XT that was here. At maximum load you don't even know about it and temperatures below 60C (often not even 60).
consumption can be easily reduced with minimal loss of power.
FSR 4 already competes with DLSS with honour
2x 8pin
this is my second XFX card
the card is very big, I had to replace the cabinet with a bigger one.
