I wanted to make things easier since we often boil eggs on the gas hob, so there's definitely an advantage here, but. According to the instructions, it takes a few tries to get the desired result – true enough, I had to scrub the hob three times before managing hard-boiled eggs, and that was with it set to soft-boiled. The only disappointment was the timer, which doesn't turn off automatically but just beeps. Now that I finally know how to set it, and not to wander too far, the eggs are perfect – you just need to get used to it.
it's simple in the end
