As someone already wrote here - sonically such a better "MP3" player with integrated not very good quality amplifier. If you want a simple inexpensive solution in a small box, go ahead, but I'd trade it for a clean amp in a similar price range along with a separate streamer.

Definitely a big surprise at the first start, the sound has a considerable power reserve, the use of new chips is evident here, the sound is pleasant, perfectly tuned, it does not press on the saw and is not too stifled, it can cope without problems even with large columns of course in some reasonable class, I have tested for it disproportionately 15x more expensive columns and the result is not bad at all although this is a completely different league, to all those who are looking for a compact device or a connection even with TV SUB connection, and you have even larger columns there is nothing to worry about for a great price you get a lot of music. No competition at this price, only Eversolo play, but it already has a 3k higher price.

I was previously using the Wiim Amp Pro and wasn't expecting a significant shift in sound quality with the Amp Ultra, but I was all the more surprised after plugging it in. I'm using with the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G speakers, and with the older model I had to fiddle with the equalizer and gently boost the bass because the sound was too soft and lifeless. With the Wiim Amp Ultra, the sound was beautifully balanced right out of the box. The speakers aren't power-hungry, so the Wiim Amp Ultra handles them with no problem, the loudest I've gotten is probably 20/100, I'd probably have a problem with the neighbours anymore. Compared to the Wiim Amp Pro, there is a display on the Ultra Amp in addition to the power, which is a nice addition.
