I was unpleasantly surprised by the noise of the disc. Compared to the old 4GB WD Red, the noise of this drive is significantly higher, it reminds me of old drives from the PC days. I bought the disk for a home NAS and I can' t really imagine watching a movie in it. I'll be back.
