Apparently I chose the wrong size, the chains are a bit loose even after tensioning. (Practice on summer 16's in the garage ok, but my winter ones are 195/65 r15, so more like size 80, not 90). However, I'm still happy and will keep them, they work for getting out and shorter rides, which was the reason for the purchase. However, they recommend that you always choose the size according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

The KNS 80 should fit the 205/55/16 tyres according to the sticker on the box. I had to replace them with KSN 90. This size is OK even though it is not marked on the sticker on the box. Inside the package there are instructions,. where compatible tyres are listed. Unfortunately, the description in the instructions does not match the labels on the side of the box.

If you're looking for 235/45 R17 wheel chains (declared size by the seller and stated on the packaging) and you're not willing to buy and add lugs to them at the hardware store, don't even order them. They are small and in no way can be tightened over the eye and into the opposite side according to the manual.
It's downright embarrassing to sell this as chains for 17" wheels. Shame.
