For basic computer sounds OK
Mono speakers (both electroacoustic transducers are connected in parallel to the mono amplifier PCB with a mono potentiometer for volume adjustment). There are only two wires leading from the jack connector cable (not three, as I would expect with a stereo).

I have a 15,6" Fujitsu Celsius H7700 graphics laptop with really bad sound, for casual watching of movies and series horrible. I don't want to wear headphones all the time or have big boxes on my desk. The speakers are good for this purpose, they actually have three cables - two lead from one box (one classic 3.5mm JACK, the other USB for power) and the third connects both boxes - the length of this cable is just enough for a 15.6" laptop. The sound isn't bad, OK for movies, not too bad for music, but for the price of a pack of cigarettes I'll happily forgive them. Pity about the few missing centimetres of cable between the speakers when using the docking station

the length of the cable between the boxes is just right for a 15.6" laptop when they are placed on the sides. I also have a docking station that extends 3 cm and the cable is already short there
