Of course, it doesn't work against the little vinegars. But what's really crazy is that it doesn't fit in the drawer at all. I always fit it in somehow to make it work and then tape it over, otherwise it wouldn't stick anywhere. The backlight is rather unnecessary for me if you want to place it in a bedroom or room where the light might be distracting. Of course, with poor compatibility with the socket, the backlight is the only verification factor that the machine is on.
