The cable does what it's supposed to, OTG really works. I connected the Topdon TC001 with an old Xiaomi Redmi4 to my full satisfaction.
I needed to connect a USB infrared camera with 3.0 port to an older mobo with microUSB. OTG was necessary. Result: everything works as it should on the first connection. You can't do this with every cable!
the micro USB connector is pretty much encased in plastic. When the mobile was in the protective case, the cable connector did not hold much in the mobile. When compared to another cable, it was about 0.7-1mm in length. Who doesn't like it (because he has a massive case on his mobo), let him cut a piece of plastic like I did, this special cable is worth it! It must be said that the bare mobile phone micro USB connector fit exactly, i.e. is not out of specification.

I tried connecting a USB drive, a computer mouse, a memory card reader and finally another Android phone to the phone (Android operating system) via a cable and nothing worked!
