I purchased the product to bypass the jack jack since my headphones were not working with the Link to Windows app. I heard somewhere that I could bypass it through the usb - jack adapter, but unfortunately it didn't work with the application, even though the adapter itself was functional (for other functions and applications it worked)

Buy a cable splitter for audio and mic, you will definitely hear 100% more.
I hope Alza quickly withdraws this product from the store, because it is absolutely unusable. Flat output at all levels.
if you have no other output than USB, choose headphones with USB.
