My Acer Aspire 5 does not have DP and the BenQ external monitor does not have HDMI. Rather than throwing away a working monitor (even if it's not the newest) or buying an Acer dock, this is a good enough deal for a few sixpence. When it works, the image from the Mac Mini 2020 / M1 to the Dell P3421W is absolutely great.
