I changed my mind about waiting for nintendo, but as a result I don't regret the purchase. The price is more expensive, the product is a pretty solid piece of plastic and I miss the keyboard support. But I recommend the product to everyone who likes games and doesn't want to pay too much for games thanks to discounts. And they only need 30-60 minutes a day to play. It's a really small thing, so it hurts your hands. Yes, you have to buy a new charger or use an adapter. But before I spend any money, I read the information: )... and yes, logically you can buy it cheaper on Steam, but you only get a year discount... the deal on alza was fine and I recommend it.

I had to buy a new charger (but alzi says everywhere that it supplies a US charger).
I didn't know that unpacked didn't just mean unpacked but also opened. I've repaired the side R2 button twice. (yes I know I lost my warranty, but the steam deck is designed for simple repairs even by amateurs + for example I simply repair my mobile phones and tablets myself) Always the same error, a loose screw wedged under the button.
Alza once again distinguished itself as a lowcost store. The device is supplied from the UK with an adapter - nowhere described. I am considering returning and ordering from the manufacturer, where it is also significantly cheaper
Just what I needed. I often spend time on business trips and for the evenings this is just what I needed. I wouldn't play the most demanding games at all (Cyberpunk, etc. ), but that's not why I bought this, I have a PS5 at home for that. I just bought this to catch up on Fallout, Assassin's creed, Half-life etc. I was worried because of the size if after a while it would be uncomfortable because of the weight, but the opposite is true and even after hours of playing I did not feel any fatigue in my hands. For me, if you're not counting on playing the latest AAA titles, you'll be very happy.
Even though I own a powerful PC, I use the Steam deck more often. I probably wouldn't recommend it to the hardcore AAA title player, although it does a lot. But for pixel art, 2D or less demanding games it's absolutely ideal and the battery lasts long enough. I definitely recommend buying a docking station.
