It works exactly as mentioned, I use to connect one keyboard and mouse to a PC and laptop.
Switching is reliable when no external power supply is connected, so input 1 is always set after switching off the PC / NTB and switching it on again.
The cables in the package are 1 m long and are of high quality.
The connected USB 3.0 flash drive runs at maximum USB 2.0, so even here there is no problem that the hub / switch slows down data transfer.
No mounting options, for example on the side of the table or at the bottom of the table, not everyone wants to have a mess of cables on the table.
