It holds the phone well and firmly in the form of a clip. This eliminates the problem that it will eventually stop sticking to the surface or that it will not stick properly due to temperature. However, you need to evaluate very well whether it will restrict your view, because in many cars you can't put it anywhere other than right above the steering wheel.
I definitely recommend trying out the view with your mobile phone in the position above the steering wheel first.
In my case, the bracket ended up in a car other than the intended one, which has a suitable center chapel.
In a car where the steering wheel is rather below the driver's view, this may not be a bad choice.
However, limited rotation must be taken into account, the joint only allows limited rotation.
