The ramp is good, we are still teaching the dog to use it. About a week so far. We've got her on the lowest position. Up dog - dachshund comes out fine, down dog has a little problem with it. It makes it even more of a problem for him at a higher position. I might choose a slightly different ramp surface, like carpet with notches across it. We'll see, maybe it's just habit.

The dog is happy, so am I.
Although the price is higher for a couple of boards, spinal surgery is much more expensive and there is no guarantee that it will be as before

Adjustable space power
Doesn't take up much space
Fine also visually
You can feel the cat slipping on it, but it's not a huge disaster.
