The radio is perfect, only when receiving from other radios than the BF-88E (the other one from the box) the LED only lights up when receiving a signal, the squelch stays closed.
good range (managed to establish a connection at 80km)
doesn't have too many features
can be used out of the box
Despite the specifications, the BF-88E came with a detachable antenna (not suitable for PMR band)
